Green Compost in Agriculture for Development (GCAD) is proud to announce that its Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Abubakarr Ibrahim Ndopaie, has been recognized by the U.S. Embassy in Freetown, Sierra Leone, as one of the most impactful Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders alumni.
This recognition celebrates his outstanding commitment to applying the knowledge, leadership skills, and practical experience gained through the Mandela Washington Fellowship at the Jackson State University Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship in the United States.
Through his leadership, GCAD has continued to drive sustainable agriculture by transforming organic waste into high-quality organic compost fertilizer, restoring degraded soils, promoting environmental sustainability, and supporting climate-smart agricultural practices across Sierra Leone.
