GCAD Showcases Premium Organic Compost at International Youth Day 2026 in Lungi

Green Compost in Agriculture for Development (GCAD) joined young people, development partners, government representatives, and other stakeholders at International Youth Day 2026, held on Wednesday, 12 August 2026, at the Julius Maada Bio International Conference Centre in Lungi, Sierra Leone.

The celebration was held under the theme “Harnessing Youth Innovation and Resilience for National Transformation,” highlighting the important role young people play in driving innovation, sustainable development, and positive transformation.

As part of the event, GCAD showcased its Premium Organic Compost, demonstrating its commitment to promoting sustainable agriculture, organic soil improvement, environmental protection, and opportunities for young people within the agricultural sector.

GCAD’s participation provided an opportunity to showcase how organic waste can be transformed into valuable agricultural solutions while encouraging more sustainable and climate-smart approaches to farming.
